Google My Business (GMB) is a free tool that allows businesses to manage their online presence across Google, including Search and Maps. With GMB, businesses can create and update their business profile, post photos and videos, respond to customer reviews, and more. It’s an essential tool for any business looking to increase visibility online.

Creating a GMB listing is easy and free. In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps of creating a GMB listing in English step by step.

Step 1: Sign Up for Google My Business
The first step in creating a GMB listing is signing up for an account. To do this, go to google.com/business and click “Sign Up” in the top right corner of the page. You’ll be asked to enter your business name and address before you can continue.

Step 2: Verify Your Business
Once you’ve signed up for an account, you’ll need to verify your business with Google. This is done by having Google send a postcard with a verification code to your business address. Once you receive the postcard, enter the code on the verification page on Google My Business to complete the process.

Step 3: Create Your Listing
Once your business has been verified, it’s time to create your listing! On the main page of Google My Business, click “Create Listing” in the top right corner of the page. You’ll be asked to enter information about your business such as its name, address, phone number, website URL, hours of operation, etc. Once you have entered all of this information correctly and clicked “Create Listing” at the bottom of the page, your listing will be created!

Step 4: Add Photos & Videos
Now that your listing has been created it’s time to add photos and videos! Adding photos and videos helps customers get a better idea of what your business looks like before they visit it or make a purchase from it. To add photos or videos click on “Photos & Videos” in the left-hand menu on Google My Business and then click “Add Photos & Videos” at the top of the page. You can then upload photos or videos from your computer or add them from other sources such as YouTube or Flickr. Once you have added all of your photos and videos click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page to save them to your listing!

Step 5: Respond To Reviews
Another important part of managing your GMB listing is responding to customer reviews. Customers often leave reviews about businesses they have visited or purchased from so it is important that businesses respond promptly and professionally when they receive reviews on their GMB listings. To respond to reviews simply go to “Reviews & Ratings” in the left-hand menu on Google My Business and then click “Respond To Reviews” at the top of the page. Here you can read customer reviews as well as respond directly with comments or questions if needed!

Step 6: Monitor Insights & Analytics
The last step in managing your GMB listing is monitoring insights & analytics about how customers are interacting with it online! To do this simply go to “Insights & Analytics” in the left-hand menu on Google My Business and then click “View Insights & Analytics Dashboard” at the top of the page. Here you can see how many people are viewing your listing each day as well as other useful information such as how many people are calling or visiting after viewing it online!
