Having a Google Business Profile is an essential part of any business’s online presence. It allows customers to find your business, learn more about it, and even leave reviews. But having a profile isn’t enough; you need to make sure it looks professional and inviting. One way to do this is by adding photos to your Google Business Profile.
Adding photos to your profile can help customers get a better sense of what your business is all about and make them more likely to visit or contact you. It also helps you stand out from the competition and gives potential customers a better idea of what they can expect from your business. In this article, we’ll show you how to add photos to your Google Business Profile so that you can make the most of this powerful marketing tool.
Before You Begin
Before you start adding photos to your profile, there are a few things you should keep in mind:
• Make sure the photos are high-quality and relevant to your business. Low-quality images won’t do much for your profile, so take the time to find good ones that accurately represent what you do.
• Choose images that are appropriate for all audiences. Avoid anything that could be considered offensive or inappropriate in any way.
• Make sure the images are properly sized for the web (at least 800 x 600 pixels). This will ensure they look good on all devices, including mobile phones and tablets.
• Don’t forget about copyright laws! Make sure any images you use are either yours or have been properly licensed for use on the web.
Once you’ve taken these steps, you’re ready to start adding photos to your Google Business Profile!
Step 1: Log into Your Account
The first step is logging into your account on Google My Business (GMB). If you don’t already have an account, go ahead and create one now – it only takes a few minutes! Once logged in, click on “Manage Location” at the top of the page and select the location associated with your business profile from the drop-down menu. This will take you to the dashboard for that location where you can manage all aspects of it, including adding photos.
Step 2: Add Photos
Once on the dashboard page for your location, click on “Photos” in the left-hand menu bar. This will open up a new page where you can upload photos from either your computer or directly from social media sites like Facebook or Instagram (if connected). To upload from your computer, simply click “Upload Photo” at the top of the page and select an image file from your computer (make sure it meets all of our criteria listed above!). Once uploaded, click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page and repeat as needed until all desired images have been added.
Step 3: Edit Photos
Once all desired images have been added, it’s time to edit them so they look their best on your profile! To do this, simply hover over each image until an edit icon appears in its upper right corner – click this icon and then select “Edit Photo Details” from the drop-down menu that appears below it. This will open up a new window where you can add titles and descriptions for each photo as well as adjust its orientation if needed (this is especially important if uploading portrait-style images!). Once finished editing each photo individually, click “Save Changes” at the bottom of each window before moving onto another image – don’t forget this step! Step 4: Publish Photos
Finally, once all desired images have been edited as needed it’s time to publish them so they appear on your profile! To do this simply hover over each image until an edit icon appears in its upper right corner – click this icon again but this time select “Publish” from the drop-down menu below it instead of “Edit Photo Details”. This will publish each photo individually so they appear live on both desktop computers as well as mobile devices like phones and tablets – just make sure they look good before publishing them!
And there we have it – four simple steps for adding photos to your Google Business Profile! By following these steps carefully not only will customers be able get a better sense of what makes up our businesses but also help us stand out amongst our competition – something every business should strive for when trying build their online presence!
